HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) blockers
The latest Terra Blocker model has been successfully impact tested to the International IWA 14 specification, stopping a 7.2t N2A vehicle travelling at 50mph (80kph).
The latest model of HVM Terra Blocker with Shallow Mount Technology, successfully impact tested to the new International IWA 14 specification stopping a 7.2t vehicle travelling at 80kph (50mph). The IWA 14 Terra Shallow Blocker tests resulted in the vehicle being stopped within the aperture.
The latest model of Terra Blocker is the MkII which has been successfully impact tested to the BSi PAS68 specification, stopping a 7.5t vehicle travelling at 30mph (48kph) which equates to 667kJ. The PAS 68 Terra Blocker tests resulted in the vehicle being stopped within the aperture.
The K12 Terra Blocker has been successfully impact tested to Department of State K12 L3 standard, now replaced by the ASTM M50 P1 standard. This means the K12 Terra Blocker successfully stopped an American 6.8t vehicle travelling at 80kph (50mph).
The ONLY surface mounted HVM Blocker to be successfully impact tested to the BSi PAS 68 specification AND remain bolted in its original position during and after impact.
The HCIS Terra Blocker has been specifically designed to meet the requirements with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry of Interior, HCIS Security Directives for crash barriers.
