Finish The cabinet is protected by a finish system comprising; de-greasing, shot blasting to clean metal, zinc rich powder prime and polyester powder coat. Boom – Aluminium, Powder Coated, White with red bands. Special colours available.

Accessories: Boom lights, Maglocks, Articulated booms, Stainless steel cabinet, Signs and Traffic light systems

Safety: Signs, Vehicle detector loop systems, safety photocells, Audible alarms, Flashing beacons, Light curtain and Ultra sonic sensors

Controls: The programmable logic controller (PLC) with built in safety features will accept inputs from access control systems including access card, voice, etc. Push button as supplied as standard

Operating Speed: 3.5-7 seconds, dependent upon boom length, motor and skirt options

Barrier Signage	Warning and information signs installed on the barrier boom such as ‘STOP’ ‘NO EXIT’ and ‘NO ENTRY’
HGV Signage	Warning and information signs installed on the barrier boom at a height more visible to HGV users.
Pedestrian Warning Sign	Normally placed on the barrier cabinet. Warns pedestrian of the automatic barrier.
Customise Your Barrier	Frontier Pitts takes customising your Automatic Barrier to the next level. As Automatic Barrier on your car park is likely to be the first opportunity that visitors to your premises will see, the traffic control system is a good opportunity for branding and free advertising.
Fixed End Rest	Frontier Pitts recommends an end rest for barriers with booms over 4 metres. Fixed end rests are bolted to the ground and require a foundation base of 400mm SQ x 300mm deep.
Pogo Stick End Rest	Pogo Stick End Rests are attached to the end of the barrier boom. The end rest will raise and fold against the boom. Ideal bi-parting barrier installations.
Maglock	For added security the maglock is installed on the fixed end rests and will reduce possible vandalism
Boom Lights	LED lights installed on the barrier boom to highlight the barrier boom
Special Colour	Barriers are manufactured as standard in white with a red chevron. Special colours are available to suit a company’s individual corporate theme.
Stainless Steel Finish	As standard, the barriers cabinet is shotblasted and finish with a final coat of polyurethane paint. However a Stainless Steel finish is also available as an option. Advisable for sites located on the coast
Lower Folding Skirt	Lower folding skirts are installed beneath the barrier boom. As the barrier boom rises, the skirt folds towards the boom. Provides an extra visual deterrent.
Full Height Swivel Skirt	Skirts installed above and below the boom. As the barrier boom rises, the skirt folds towards the boom. Full height swivel skirts provide the speed and flexibility of a rising arm barrier, and the deterrent of a gate, but at a much lower cost.
Articulated Boom	Recommended for entrances/exits with limited height clearance. Ideal for multi storey car parks.
Traffic Light System	Traffic Light systems are highly recommended to be installed with all road blocker and bollard systems to advise all users of its position. 100mm traffic light head can be pole or mounted on control cabinet
Traffic Light Full Sign System	Safety light signals and Car Park ‘FULL’ signs.
Vehicle Detector Loops	Vehicle detector loops installed beneath the road surface to detect vehicles. This will prevent the automatic equipment from closing on a vehicle within the aperture. Safety induction loops cut into the road surface. This will prevent the gate from closing on a vehicle within the aperture.
Safety Photocells	Safety Photocells produce beams of light which cross the road way to monitor vehicle and pedestrian movement. If an object breaks this beam, the automatic equipment will stop & reverse. On gate installations, two pairs of photocells are usually fitted. Ultra Sonic Sensors are also available.
Wig Wag Lights	‘Wig Wag’ Traffic Light systems are highly recommended to be installed with automatic barriers at rail way level crossings. The lights will flash to annouce a warning.
